Can we stop hurling the word dementia around as an insult? Dementia is a specific (often devastating) disease process.

Normal patterns of aging include increased cognitive processing time and inarticulate speech due to weakening lingual muscles. These things are normal and do not = dementia.

Well said. My mother died from a form of Dementia, Alzheimer’s, it was a long and slow and awful process.
