Who does journaling?

What methods do you use?

What styles do you practice?

Did you do it in the past?

Me. I’ve kept written journals and scrapbooks of memories for many, many years. For the past 15+ I mostly do visual journal work (aka art journaling.)

They sound amazing.
Are your written journals only recording history and things that happened in your life or do you use them as an organisational / productivity tool too?

Over time I’ve kept nice Franklin planners, Traveler’s & bullet type journals. Those had schedules, calendars. business cards, etc. Now, unless for a class, not such tidy notes. Scrawly rants on life, odd packaging labels, meaningful quotes, things I find on walks. Some actual art by me or others.

Love it.

I’m ever-aspiring to the pure Bullet Journal Method as devised by Ryder Carroll but alas, what I end up with is very ratty rapid logging of my stream of consciousness. Scary. 😂

I admire those who can do that, just not easy or natural to me. When I first joined Spoutible I hoped to connect with journal keepers but it’s been slow.

You’ve just connected with one but I’m no role model.

Nothing about what I do is Instagrammable or YouTube material.

I do IG but hardly post there unless I know it’s easy for people to accept. I appreciate almost all forms. I like it more when it’s very distinct and individual.
