Before my husband’s diagnosis of dementia I usually had my ducks in a row. Since then some days are better than others. Some ducks have wondered off & some I have gifted to others. After the past couple of days I am ready to admit that I don’t even know where my ducks are.

Hang in there and try to take some time for yourself. The main caregiver often get overlooked in the fight against dementia. We see you. We took care of FIL in his trip down memory loss.

Thank you. We are fortunate to have a good support system, good insurance and access to resources. I am in awe of those who provide care without those benefits.

It’s so incredibly hard to be the caregiver! Cut yourself some slack and know you’re doing your best and doing it with love. My mama has late stages dementia so if you need a sympathetic ear I’m here!

Thank you for the kind & supportive words Megan - the kind that would make a mother proud.
