When I mentioned that I was bi because it had to do with the convo that I was having at work yesterday, a few of my co-workers stopped speaking and raised their eyebrows as if it was weird af. It didn't feel good. Part of the reason we need to normalize being bi. It was super awkward.

Even gay & lesbian people flare their nostrils at bisexuality, every bit as much as the straights raise a brow.
Like we can't possibly be "real," that there are no "gray areas" in sexual identification, and that bisexuals are untrustworthy because we won't "PICK A SIDE."

All that bisexuals are guaranteed is the opportunity to be rejected by 90% of humanity, if that old 10% trope is to be believed. The only demographic that can never hurt bisexual women are 100%-gay men, as they're not in competition.
