because I want to shout it out loud with the hope of someone saying, hell yes, and I knew him or her too. But for so many here, it was a game to show how ally you are. And it hurt me. And I felt ashamed I shared in the first place.

It’s an older form of “Ashe”! .
Why people say Ashe?

Since at least the time of the Afrocentricity movement in the Anglophone diaspora during the late 20th century, the term "Ashe" has become a relatively common term in the US, with the general connotation being of affirmation and hopeful wishes.
