Schools should never be allowed to use corporeal punishment on students. For so many reasons, including that, like so many punishments, it's applied much more frequently to students with disabilities and Black & Brown students.

Spanking kids gives me bad feels period, but what I hate is that much of the argument is that this person was 18 when it happened. Displaying how much we allow children to be abused because they cannot object to the abuse. it is gross

Violence only begets violence. This is long established and there are enough scientific studies that show the enormous damage corporate punishment does to children.

I am very glad that every form of physical punishment involving children is VERBOTEN over here.

Kids do not need to be beaten by anyone.

Theses aren't spankings we're talking about here. The kids are being sent home with welts & bruises.

tf is wrong with you?!
