Book Recommendations.

I don’t recommend books lightly, understanding that book choices can be deeply personal. If I recommend a book, it means I think there is great value in reading it and much food for thought, or the book and writing style held me spellbound.

Some of these books are hard a tough read, meant to be read slowly and thought about.

In no particular order:

Echo Loba Loba Echo, by Sonja Swift, 2023. Of Wisdom, Wolves and Women.

For pleasure.

The Bear Town trilogy, 2017-2022, by Swedish author, and my second favourite author, Fredrik Backman. It is a series about hockey, but so much more than that. It is about the people who live in two small towns that are close to each other. Those who love hockey and those who do not.

My favourite author is Terry Pratchett.

I read anything, including mysteries, of which my favourite authors are Elizabeth George and Martha Grimes.

End.
