Red states have been cutting education budgets for decades, partly because the poorly educated are easier to govern, and now we have to deal with THIS nonsense. I really think we need better Federal standards for Public Education.

This ruling is so outlandish. I think everyone with frozen embryos should therefore claim every single embryo as a dependent on their taxes. Perhaps they can also claim the storage fees as "child care".

The sad thing is, it was a lawsuit by IVF patients who had their embryos destroyed by a third party who broke into the clinic and dropped them.

I get the impact, which I think it’s clear the claimants did not intend. But I also don’t know what else they were supposed to do, either.
