As you scroll down, Spoutible loads the next page. The ads are placed just above the new page loader. It takes 2 seconds to load a new page. As you stated, that page load happens whether an ad is present or not.

I do find that my feed gets held up for a second, to load an ad. Just did an experiment, where I scrolled quickly through. There were other posts that also held up the feed, for a second, not just ads.
I don't find it to be a problem.

Actually, I'm amazed at how speedily the ads load on Spoutible. There's nothing worse to me than waiting on a page to grab ad files from 50 odd servers when you just want to read it! Well done @cbouzy !
