When half of 40% of your voters may not vote at all, that is not a big win.

A quick Google search didn’t reveal what percent of GOP voters even voted. Anyone know?

Went thru the whole article but didn’t find it. Most articles say what percent each candidate won. That’s not what I’m looking for. I want to know the percent of GOP voted and percent who didn’t vote at all. If that was in the article, I missed it.

Turns out that only 23% of Republicans in South Carolina participated in the election! That means that 77% of SC GOP (plus those who voted for Haley etc.) DID NOT vote for Trump! Found this at State of South Carolina election website. https://www.enr-scvotes.org/SC/119816/web.317647/#/turnout
