I'm still of the opinion that part of the reason for the SCOTUS accepting the FP45 immunity case is to give him a "talking to" from the bench. No matter if some Justices WOULD grant him immunity, there's little doubt they WON'T, because that would mean handing Joe Biden THE SAME POWER.

I do feel the same way but at the same time it delays the trial unnecessarily. So which really was on the minds of those SCOTUS justices?

I believe the Court took it up to give the deadbeat rapist yet another delay in going to trial, a delay that might mean this election interference trial won’t happen until after the November election.
Given the Nixon precedent (he had to turn over tapes), they should rule against immunity.

Pretty sure Donnie's gotten a talking to from a jillion people a hell of a lot more influential than a few pesky Supreme Court justices, all to no effect.
They're just wasting our time and risking Democracy in the process.
