Interesting!🤔

Only 5% of the lockdown babies had developed a food allergy at age 1, compared to 22.8% in the pre-COVID group.

Of the lockdown babies only 17% needed an antibiotic by the age of 1 compared to 80% in the pre-pandemic group.

It was common, when I was growing up in the 70s, not to take your baby out in public, except for Dr. appts, until they were at least 6 months. People lived closer to relatives that would babysit, in those days.

Sounds like an excellent idea!✅

I have 2 granddaughters, one pre-Covid 5-year old & one 3-year old born April 2020.
The 5-year old has had 8 times more courses of antibiotics than the post-Covid baby & she has many more allergies than her younger sister! Anecdotal evidence of course but still!🤔
