But an extremely right-wing, all-male, 5-4 majority has gone *much* further, and ruled “the Constitution makes Congress, rather than the States, responsible for enforcing Section 3 [of the 14th Amendment] against federal officeholders and candidates.”

That effectively means *no* state can take this criminal—or any other criminal seeking federal office—off its ballot unless Congress were to enact a specific type of legislation under Section 5 of the 14th Amendment, which it obviously won’t do with a MAGA majority in the House. F-minus.

The fix is in. As Gotham City’s Chief O’Hara would say, the SCOTUS majority and trump are “as crooked as a warped shillelagh.
