I haven't had much of a chance to get a sense of what the mainstream reaction has been to the Supreme Court ruling on Colorado's ballot has been, but if the conversation isn't 100% about Clearance Thomas's shocking conflict of interest, they're doing it wrong

There was, as even Justice Barrett argued, zero reason to take on the question of what was required to invoke Section 3. Even less reason to limit it the way the majority did.

But Thomas shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near that question given his wife's involvement in January 6.

I am now more convinced than ever that the only way to begin to restore the Court's integrity is for Roberts to resign. His failure to enforce even the most basic ethical guidelines has damaged the Court, maybe beyond repair.
