I work in tech. Systems sometimes go down unexpectedly. Something unforeseen can happen, especially in an age replete with the poor quality of programming there is now. But... any largescale operation has software monitoring its systems. They KNOW when systems begin to fail.

Were you here over last year's July 4th weekend? Do you remember the onslaught of new spouters and Christopher warned us frequently the system couldn't handle it?

I was in Europe at the time, but that was a perfect example of a team KNOWING the system capacity and their level of redundancy, and being able to forecast a shortfall. Easier for a smaller operation, no doubt, but a large operation is supposed to be built with this kind of process IN PLACE.
