It really depends where in the time zone you are and where do you live. Here in France in Paris in the middle of summer sunsets at 10pm and so temperatures don’t drop until after midnight. I’d prefer standard time to get earlier cooling!

Personally, I spend my summers in Buffalo, NY. Sun always sets before 9 PM even in late June and you may need a sweater in the late evening. And I love it! Paris summers are frequently stupid hot with no air-conditioning and hot nights.
