A reminder:

4 yrs ago this month we went into lock down for the pandemic.
Over a million people died
We still haven't had a national day of mourning
The pandemic is not over

This month I will remember those who perished and those who put their lives on the line to save us.

I needed this today. The pandemic changed SO much and caused a lot of trauma on many levels.
Thank you for acknowledging this month, the event and the grief so many of us feel. 💜

You're welcome. I can't not acknowledge it. Too many people have chosen to forget how bad it was. We are living in a time of collective trauma from the last 8 years, most especially from the pandemic. I don't think people realize that. We must remember in order to heal.

National Day of Mourning can start with a Executive Order and become law after the democrats take all three branches in #2024

I’ll never forget that day. Panicking, driving around to the craft store and hobby store to keep the kids busy. Wondering if I need two week supply or a months. Sigh… 4 years..
