560 miles in 6 days - 93 miles a day : https://www.runnersworld.c... this is utterly nuts.

as a middle to back of the pack runner, my goal most every race is to come in under double the winning time. So if the marathon winner comes in at 2:20, I want to come in under 4:40. There are a few races where I did not meet that goal.

Could I cover 1/2 the distance, 280 miles in 6 days? An average of 46.5 miles a day? Flat out - no. I've been doing long urban hikes for the last year - and the longest I have gone was 35 miles from sunrise to sunset last summer (with stops along the way). I could barely get out of bed the next day.

And I foolishly thought that walking all day would be easy. Camille ran all day - then ran all day the next day, and then the next, and the next ... well, you get the idea. Before father time caught up with me - I enjoyed the long runs and I do miss them. But running for 6 days? Utterly nuts!
