I don’t use TikTok and really don’t know much about it but why is it a bigger ‘national security’ threat than what leon skum is doing with xwitter? 🤔

Congress put on that big show with Zuckerberg what to make people think they give a rats ass about kids? Where is the legislation for that?

We need regulation for MANY national security threats. But they’re coming down this swift on just TikTok? Like I said I don’t know much n maybe I’m missing something but something stinks here

I don't want to minimise tiktok problems with racism, misinformation and foreign influence campaigns but YouTube always steers me to conspiracies and right-wing accounts if i scroll down the recommendations. I mark all not interested and a few months later they are back

Of course. You tube, fb, x -they all do. A lot of the disinformation allowed to go viral on these platforms is absolutely a national security threat. And it’s been going on for years! So why only TikTok ?
