Again, ZERO studies that show adding lanes reduces traffic.

Adding lanes leads to induced demand, where increased road capacity causes more traffic congestion rather than relieving it.

So you NEVER want to add another lane.

Relieving traffic congestion looks way different than you imagine. It involves a combination of work such as improving public transportation, promoting telecommuting and flexible work schedules, encouraging carpooling and ridesharing, promoting active transportation like walking and cycling.

Basically, you want less cars.

To get less cars you want there to be options for people so that they don't have to use cars to get around.

That is how you improve traffic.
