The freaking robot threw the shark into space to destroy a space-based laser weapon and it shot the moon, appearing to bisect it. Then the shark did NOT burn up during re-entry.

1. The shark would have
2. A Bisected moon would have created an apocalypse on Earth. 🤦‍♀️ #MegasharkvsKolossus

I guess if the newest one we're watching can have a half man half shark, half shark half crab, and another thing I haven't seen yet. They can cut the moon in half and not kill everyone. 😂

I feel like bisecting the moon would be like cutting the water in a pool in half with a knife. Net result nothing because gravity would hold it together. Like it already does. No?

I asked friends' thoughts on that

The gravity could hold

but as it spins it could slide

The liquid center could seep out. it would solidify on contact with the cold of space but that would throw off its mass

With the way it follows the earth, and the axis, as it changes it would separate

etc.
