Finally worked with my financial guy to start the transfer of my old 401k from 2016 and an IRA from 2013 into my main account. Only around $50k in stuff just rotting away that will now start making decent gains for my old days.

He asked where the IRA was from and I really have no idea.

Invest in a Roth IRA as well. As long as you have W-2 income. It's tax free withdrawal

Think about $5k of that old 401k was Roth. Just sending it to them to handle. I asked if I should put money into the main account and he said to just up my current 401k percentage and he can work with me on the things to put it into. That is the next meeting.
