According to Ohio Dept of Education, Government starts being taught in kindergarten and continues until graduation.

So is the truth “Civics isn’t being taught”,
Or is it “Civics isn’t being learned”?

Because regardless, the responsibility is on the voting public.

Too many just follow.

From the teaching of my kids, they learn govt structure, what responsibilities each branch has and who answers to who. My oldest is 22 and youngest is a hs senior.

What I remember from my school years is a bunch of data to memorize and spit back for tests, and very little demonstration of how things actually get done. The curriculums need to be applied to real life examples and show how things do and don’t get done in government.
