I wonder if Trump will have any property left by the time the judgment is paid. He's had these properties for a while, so he'll have to pay taxes on the gains, then the mortgages will be paid. Only then will they know how much goes toward the judgment. This is going to be very interesting.

I've heard the order of payments is: tax, judgement, then loans. The lenders are gonna get squat.

Update: I believe my previous reply is true IF Trump declares bankruptcy, but if he doesn't the lenders come before the judgement. It's not clear to me whether Trump might prefer one of these scenarios over the other.

I either heard pundits on tv or read something that Trump won't want to go with a bankruptcy because of his voter base. Let's see what he does.
