Our 61 year old gas wall oven and cooktop have given up the ghost at the same time. We don't want a complete remodel but cutting some cabinets/countertops and doing some carpentry will be necessary to accommodate the new appliances. Does anyone do work like that anymore? Or are we out of luck? Sigh.

Yes, there are folks who do this. Often contractors will enjoy the challenge. Are you replacing like with like? Or getting a full stove and adapting the wall oven space?

Two options:
1. Replace the 24" wall oven with another (which involves carpentry because it's not as tall). Replace cooktop.
2. Replace both with a range (remove cabinet/cooktop/countrertop), remodel cabinet/space where wall oven was.
Hoping we found someone. We'll see if he shows up on Monday
