An adorable pair of finches were desperately trying to stuff grass into my awning for a nest, so while they were foraging I stuck up some fiberboard with caulk, and that’s when they turned on the nest-building afterburners. This is one day.

That is cool! We have a pair of Eastern Phoebes that built a nest under the front porch eave. I've enjoyed watching them over the years. This is the 5th year they've come back.

I love that. We bought a couple of willow hanging baskets with petunias and had house sparrows for the last two years. Watering was tricky.
