If doctors feel “uncomfortable or religious conflicts” because they MAY have to perform an emergency procedure ending a pregnancy maybe they need to look into a different career. Emergency medicine means emergency medicine. Religion has ZERO place in medicine and science related issues. 😡😡

In health care over 30 yrs hiring doctors, pharmacists, RNs, MAs. Essential pre employment discussion. Not just abortion -we had staff apply who had issues with birth control, IUDs and morning after pills. And yes, folks lied, became disciplinary issues and then claimed religious discrimination.

How can a doctor take the Hippocratic Oath, in good faith, without an amendment to make certain exceptions, if they have them? For sure don't be an OB/Gyn. I see a huge market coming for midwives.

Unless it's the patients religion that restricts their own care, it is irrelevant.

Interesting that the right has no problem if doctors are uncomfortable being forced to do nothing while a patient dies from an ectopic pregnancy, is tortured by being forced to carry a nonviable pregnancy to term, etc.
