How many white people have their jobs simply because they are white and not qualified? See, conservatives always want to bring up DEI only in a one sided way. Let’s look at all of it. Exxon Valdez? CIA/FBI who missed 9/11? Theranos? Madoff’s scheme? The film version of Cats?

All of my life I have believed that the vast majority of white people advanced in life simply because they are white. It’s privilege.

Qualified minority talent?
Maybe White decision makers:
Confine searches to insular professional and social networks;
Aren't looking hard enough or don't want to find it;
Have stuck many people of color in roles that lack a direct connection to profits.
