I’ve been taking a concoction from an online retailer, however, my inner warlock in the woods won’t shush until I figure out how to create my own WITHOUT too much hassle using a blender and strainer (and the pulp from ginger root).

For lozenges, you put the powder on a plate and then put drops of honey onto the powder and roll them around to incorporate the herbs. You can make them as big and as hard as you want.

You're on the right track using powdered root if you don't want to deal with straining. Have you tried making an oxymel or honey lozenge? Just mix the powder and honey for an oxymel.

I sauté ginger and garlic in olive oil and create a paste that I later use to enrich broth

Also food processors grind the fresh T & G well -
but I make smallish batches for personal so the zester works for me.

I use a lemon zester/grater for my Fresh ginger & turmeric.
Fill jar 1/2 way w G & T add ground pepper.
Cover w brandy or other alcohol to top of jar.
Let it sit for 6-8 weeks, strain through cloth & fill dropper bottles.
Never did it w powdered, but cloth straining may help?

I’m too impatient for six-to-eight weeks.

I’m looking for non-alcoholic process.

Thanks! 🤗
