It’s amazing how some people look at Angela Bassett in this picture and see “sore loser”. I look at the picture and see hurt and disappointment. And it’s ok to express that in the moment. #StopJudging #AngelaBassett #grace #Poise

She was grace. She was not disrespectful or disruptive. She didn’t storm the stage, or slap anyone. She sat quietly in her disappointment. No harm done.

I see an authentic woman expressing herself through her facial expression . Anything else is someone else interpretation of how she looks, feels or acts. This woman has earned the right to show how she feels.

I see what you see. It was a rough loss. Her look was nothing against Jamie Lee Curtis. She was disappointed.

I see a woman who has, consistently, given 1000% to her craft. I see a woman who should have received an Oscar for her portrayal of Tina Turner. I see hurt, disappointment, and disbelief that, again, after giving her all she was shut out. Angela Basset is not a sore loser.

Wow. I don’t see “sore” or “loser” at all.
