The drug itself is cheap. The creation of the injector is what costs. Look at this in more drugs. My asthma drug? Cheap it’s special inhaler, not.

The injector is likely $300 retail. The rest is development and profit. I ‘ve paid $400 and $40 for my doses. (Thanks Medicare). The cost is insane, but there are alternatives for T2D. And those using it off label can pay.

No. Never did. I was a writer, teacher, editor. Simply pointing out that the meds can be made cheap, so they design a unique delivery system to jack up prices. Nobody thinks about the delivery systems.
