Ugh. The gerrymandered SC 1st district, represented by Nancy Mace, will go forward in this next election even though the lower court ruled it be redrawn. NAACP's lawsuit states 30,000 black voters were moved from her district which would have made it more competitive in the next election.

Thanks for this. My husband and I have been researching both Deford and Moore to try and figure out who we think can beat Mace so, I appreciate for your endorsement. We need to do what you did and go to one of his events. Yes, Mace has got to go!

Deford is like a sleeper candidate to me. He "looks" like the GOPs wet dream. White, male, Citadel grad, military vet, but he's a Democrat and supports a liberal platform. While I'm absolutely a supporter of diversity and do believe we need to consider more that his demographic, SC won't change

If white men don't force it. That demographic has to fix the system that is in place to keep it in charge and able to continue to backwards policies of the old South.
