I think I'm zone 5 but I saw a changed map go by the other day and it might have changed. I think licking a finger and holding it up in the air may be a better way to tell. 😆

It's March and I have daffodils ready to bloom. That used to be a late April early May thing here. It's scary.

my redbud started to set buds in Feb! So many things popped too soon then got frozen out in the last cold snap. Poor Mother Nature is going through the change of life, I think.

we went out and covered as many as we could with frost protective wraps, but you can't wrap a whole redbud tree. so sad, this was it's first year to bloom, we bought it in a four inch pot about five years ago. i'll just be glad if the tree makes it, but my daughter was so excited to see the flowers
