Sounds like ‘magical thinking’ since news (read ‘journalism’) is a cost center and not a contributor to their “fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders”.

They're also supposed to take into account the shareholders wishes but BlackRock, Vanguard, etc proxy vote them all and they vote what the 1% want.
