So proud of my kids. I raised 'em good. The oldest went with my wife and I to vote. We called the youngers to see if they would come along, they already voted earlier today. 🥰

You did good!
Every year at voting time, I joyously talked with my 5th-8th grade students about the critical importance of voting. Always saddened by the couple of students who had already learned from their folks the “why bother”excuse (or the various other reasons people don’t participate).

❤️ this.
Voting is a gateway drug.

It's the starting gate of the activist tradition I inherited from my parents.

You know it! My oldest is a millennial and is feeling a bit disillusioned these days. I have to keep reminding him that voting 3rd party in a national election will not get him the results he wants.
