Sometimes the devil is in the details. In the case of HR 7322, it is not. It's in title and the list of sponsors and co-sponsors. Some of the most racist politicians in America including Chip Roy and Paul Gosar want to give authority over immigration matters to officers of individual states.

In response to John Nah.
In essence it would legalize actions that Texas's Attorney General Ken Paxton is doing in regards to immigration by denying the federal government the authority over such matters when the executive office is occupied by a political party they disagree with. This is such BS.
