No new LEGOs for #LEGOWednesday but PC assembly is a bit like snapping bricks together, so here is what I was building last weekend. 12 years since my last full rebuild, this one isn't finished but got my current stuff moved into this new water-cooled chassis. The lights are Cardinals red of course!

Nothing special, it's an upgrade in progress lol. Latest pieces are the new Montech case and Thermalright AIO along with an Asus 4070, but still on my old 3770k...new CPU/board/RAM/SSD coming over the next couple of months.

Do you plan on replacing more parts?

I think the next step is CPU/Motherboard/RAM. And probably an NVMe main drive (I'm still on SATA). After that, possibly a new PSU (mainly because my 750w Corsair is like 8+ years old and not modular), and I might consolidate a couple of old HDDs into a big single drive.

SSD's & other parts are really inexpensive now. What CPU are you considering.... AMD or Intel CPU?

I think I'm leaning Intel again, but not sure. It's been ages since I've been on an AMD platform so I have lots of research if I jump ship.

I hear you but honestly, I would go with AMD. AMD CPU's are out performing than Intel CPU's. Like Intel but AMD is really out performing Intel

It seems like the platform also isn't constantly changing as often as with Intel too. Definitely going to research it a bunch before I buy anything.
