If you truly want to know the difference between, say, Twitter and Spoutible, here you go. Tesla Boy suspends people over vapor; Mr. Bouzy probably SHOULD suspend people for ACTUAL behavior, but is trying hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. IMO, there's no comparison.

I won't presume to tell him what to do. That's on him. But I applaud him for being even-handed and not violently reactive. In the past, we know, people who have clearly violated the TOS have gotten the heave-ho. He will make the right choice.

My experience as a forum moderator (not the same thing, I know) giving people benefit of the doubt after an infraction will often fail, often spectacularly so. Acting early protects the community and avoids dangerously raised blood pressure, disruption, and time lost from other work.
