Last October, Musee d'Orsay had a special van Gogh exhibit - the paintings from the final few months of his life. Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise. It was fantastic! To walk up close and see the strokes, the layers of paint. I wanted SO BADLY to touch everything. (Didn't, of course!)
Linda Eisenstein @LindaEisenstein
Stopped at the Museum to see Monet in Focus: 3 paintings on loan from the Musée Marmottan + 2 from Cleveland's collection, including a crown jewel: the huge Water Lilies that usually dominates the Impressionist room. I'll never forget seeing the whole triptych together here. More in ALT-TEXT

In response to Katja van den Berg.
I never realized how much I enjoyed his work until I saw so much of it all at once! Go - enjoy! 😁
