Faith shouldn't be claiming a creator of all things exists, then blocking actual study of all of creation.

Doesn't science itself honor a creator by studying their creation?
Wouldn't creation itself be a better reference for a creator than collected iron age folk tales?

In response to Dad For Ever.
Faith can help fill in gaps in knowledge, but it is NOT a substitute for knowledge.

Whether a creator exist or not has nothing to do with our belief. Even if one does, I guarantee it can't fit into our current human understanding.
It was never within the grasp of Iron Age folks.

The image they built, with the best of their understanding, cannot exist. Any definition of god must be in constant refinement, or it becomes stagnant.

Religion, to be valid, must evolve.

If it can't (or won't) it dies.
