A lot of my farmer friends are worrying that ppl will attempt to park in their hay fields to watch the eclipse. The fields are covered with snow on top of mud. They'll get mired in the mud. And hay fields cannot be trampled on. They better not try to drive on mine.

A friend of mine near Batavia NY says he and his husband are "really hoping" people try parking in their two (currently swampy) fields bordering the highway. They're putting up no parking signs that also inform eclipse viewers there will be a $500 charge per vehicle for towing. $1000 for Teslas. 🤣

Great idea. So far I've blocked the entrances to the fields.
