Make sure your eclipse glasses are ANSI stamped and meet ISO 12312-2 standards. If not, they may be fake. Check by wearing them and looking at a bright lamb or bulb. You shouldn't be able to see any light.

In case nobody has told you and you haven't figured it out for yourself:
Don't look at the sun during the eclipse (or any time), unless you are 100% sure it is totally eclipsed by the moon or you have proper protection. Even 1% exposure can cause permanent damage to your retinas causing blindness.
