Here's the plan:
Stay quiet on an abortion ban during the campaign, then use the Comstock Act to ban ALL abortions in 2025. Arguing that all medical supplies are delivered by mail or another common carrier".

My understanding of the Comstock Act passed in the 1870s was to prevent obscene materials from going through the mail. Its purpose was to put a stop to birth control. So bringing that thing back is likely for preventing that as well.

On the other hand, I think it can only regulate US mail.

There's clearly talk among Republicans (and the Project 2025 strategists) to expand the Comstock Act with an interpretation of the "common carrier".

Wow. I guess Republicans aren't all about business after all, are they? I mean, they scream Freedom when it comes to business being people and political donations being "free speech" but they're fine meddling in how they transport things. Is that even allowed under the Constitution?

Isn't there some kind of transportation across states clause?

Oh. I forgot. They don't really believe in following the Constitution, either.

True. But if the orange menace ever sets foot into the Oval office again, you can scrap parts of the Constitution. It's laid out in Project 2025 in bold letters.
