I think the author would agree. Do you have the print version? The subheading is "Some women see the patriarchy as a solution, not a problem." (I am guessing you and I would agree we live under patriarchal capitalism)

I agree we live under patriarchal capitalism! But I see this as more patriarchal than capitalistic. If women make a decision to become a servant in order to be taken care of, it's cuz 1) men want that & 2) women are forced to work twice as hard – a job & taking care of the house – both patriarchy.
