NGC 3628 is an edge-on spiral galaxy located about 35 Mly away in the constellation of Leo.

It is part of the Leo triplet of galaxies. As can been seen in the image the it has prominent dust lanes along the edge of the galaxy. This dust is common to spiral galaxies.
