I need an
ant-proof
sugar bowl.

[These pests could
very well put me
over the edge.]

I long ago gave up
on my cute little
sugar bowl (that
looked so nice
at my coffee station)
for a small Tupperware
container but the ants
get up under the lid.

I was gone from home for a week. I took everything off the countertops and sprayed the counters with a 1:1 concentration of Pine Sol and water, leaving the spray.
Ants were significantly reduced when I returned, but one of the little bastards landed in my coffee this morning.
The battle rages!

A moat around the bottom with double sided tape. They can't get back to the others to snitch.
I also use the liquid bait ant traps. Tried them last year around the counter bases and was pleasantly surprised.

I use those Terro traps, and they do work but last year I suspected they attract more ants coming from outside to die in the traps.

Now I’m thinking of placing them outside on the window ledges.

Here's some good options. Basically airtight = antproof (in theory)

I’d probably put it in the fridge; we’ve had to do that with other sweet things during ant season.
