Ayiti cheri.

This is a video from one of the people I respect highly in this world for his learning, his wisdom, his kindness, his willingness to give to others whatever he has to give, who demonstrates the deepness of his faith in his trust that God will work everything out for good.

And when he is reaching his limit, I know that life is becoming dire.

He lives in Haiti, away from the capital, and thus is not as affected on a daily basis by violence, thuggery, and chaos that is *being inflicted upon the people of Haiti*.

But still, he is Haitian, and he cannot do much but hope that God will bring peace in a nation where there are so, so many gangs that want to tear the country apart.

The ordinary Haitian is much like the ordinary person in any other country. They want the same things as anyone else. Safety and peace. A chance to earn a living. A chance to improve their lives. A place to send their kids to school in safety so they can become educated. Safety to go shopping.
