27 years. $80K. Probably was less than that when she started. But sure, Joe Biden isn't helping anyone and you didn't get a pony...

JOE BIDEN JUST FORGAVE MY STUDENT LOANS AFTER 27 YEARS.

I'm sitting at my desk sobbing. Almost $80 grand.
Speechless. Just speechless.

Joe Biden you have changed my life and the lives of my children and I am forever grateful.

She shared on her podcast that she had $150,000 to begin. As noted in the letter, she has made more than 240 payments. Nobody is getting this sort of relief if they haven’t been making a serious effort to repay their debt. Infuriating that the Repugnants act as if this is “freeloading”.

The taxpayers subsidized my education and healthcare in the ‘60s when I went to a state college and paid only minimal fees. I paid taxes then on my income and have paid taxes throughout the intervening 59 years, but I guess they would consider me a free-loader, too. 🙄
