Bob - Garden is Life

It is that time of year where we can get below freezing at night and hit 80F during the day. I cannot abide the decadence of running the furnace and AC on the same day. So here we sit in 63F in heavy robes / wool sweaters having our coffee waiting for warmth. Wife feels same way, so she's on board.

It’s so good when you’re both in the same place about things like that. My wife & I were just saying too how glad we were that we shared the same ideas about s/thing as we knew others who would feel very different abt it. Nice! Enjoy the warmth when it comes! today & can cuddle tog until it does!😉

In our old house I had a rule that once the heat got shut off, it was not going back on until fall. Our new home has a more sophisticated HVAC system with an auto function. We’ve gotten soft now.

Like my dear, great-aunt Bet used to say "I can always put on enough clothes to stay warm but there's a limit to what I can take off to stay cool". You're making the right choice.
