I don't think I knew the French call tomatoes "love apples" (pomme d'amour). They also call potatoes "earth apples" (pomme de terre)... do French speakers really like apples or something?

I've always loved saying pomme de terre!! According to Dani French people don't really say pomme d'amour – unfortunately, cuz that would be fun too.

I'm a big fan of the French word for grapefruit:
"Pamplemousse" - pronounced pomp-le-moose.

It's very satisfying to say. 😁
